Analytic Algorithm Toolbox

We host algorithms as a service. Our apps have a simple concept, accept data and output results. Users input data files, adjust a few key parameters, and re-run whenever they want.

  • Browse Our Marketplace Subscribe to our ready to go apps. We've taken some common algorithms and built them into a simple concept, accept data and output results. Marketplace opening in January 2024.
  • Create Your Own Our data scientists will customize our pre-built apps or work with you to create a custom app that is available whenever you need it.
Analytic Toolbox Marketplace

Whether you want to ditch the manual analysis in spreadsheets or know that with more complex logic you could be better informed, many analytical tasks should start here. Take those workloads to our hosted apps to take advantage of the latest AI algorithms. Spend more time analyzing results and less time analyzing data.

  • Customer Segmentation
  • Seasonally Adjusted Forecasting
  • Sentiment Analysis
  • Named Entity Recognition
  • Are just a few we have in the works

Whether you use an app from our marketplace or have your own tasks, having a robust toolbox of algorithms is critical to free up time for business decisions and not data analysis.

Data Pipelines and Warehouses

80% of data analysis is spent on data preparation. Having a central source of clean data that matches business process is essential to faster insights.

Having a technical partner that asks the right questions to understand your business measurement objectives for data warehouse implementation is the most essential success factor. Technical development is a documented process, but understanding what you business is trying to accomplish using data is not. We explain technical details simply, in a way that relates to your business. More importantly, an implementation team must make all the correct small decisions during development to algin to objectives.

  • Step 1 Data Model Design: A critical step that takes business and metric understanding and merges it with data warehouse design practices. Here key design decisions are made that set you up for today's business intelligence and tomorrow's predictions. This step will have lasting impacts and must be done centered around your business.
  • Step 2 Extract, Load: A technical step that pulls multiple sources of data to a single place. Includes scheduling jobs that connect to source systems, parse APIs, read files, run database queries in a manner that supports the data model. This work pulls all your data together so it can be combined logically.
  • Step 3 Transform: How does data from all these systems stitch together? What are the business rules that need to be applied? Do you have custom lookups? Is the data easily understood with minimal context or is it cryptic and confusing? This is where understanding you business metrics and key slices of those metrics come to life.
  • Step 4 The Results: Data for reports, dashboards and business metrics are automatically refreshed for faster business insights. Trusted common data sets are used for analysis instead of pulling new raw data every time. Data is organized so decisions aren't made on how to pull and combine data, decisions are spent on how best to analyze the data.

We specialize in designing, building and maintaining cloud data warehouses. We are Snowflake partners and its a great fit for many of our customers. Its very scalable and can support businesses from multi-national organizations to small businesses in a cost effective manner. Cost is based on compute, which means that it scales to how much data you are consuming and analyzing, but all customer benefit from the infrastructure, security and analytic features. It supports any business intelligence tools, but great for Power BI and Tableau.

Automation and AI Strategy

Feel like your data should be easier to use for decisions? Having trouble seeing how AI could help your business through the fog of the AI hype? We provide thorough evaluations with simple explanations of how you can leverage AI and automation at a scale that fits your business.

AI and automation can do some impressive things, but if those things don't help your business, then they are of no use to you. We'll help you develop a roadmap of next steps and the benefits you will get. We make recommendations. Not conceptual ideas, not things to investigate, but specific actions and tools. Below are services we offer to start your journey to better data and automation.

Service Offerings

  • System Mapping - Most organizations have so many systems, they have trouble figuring out where data comes from and where it goes. Maintaining lineage and understanding those interconnections is an important first step to unlocking value from data.
  • Data Acquisition Strategy - You may have a problem that can be solved with AI in the future, but aren't collecting the data to do it. We'll help you figure out what data is critical to start collecting. As you gather the right information, you'll be ready to leverage AI in the future.
  • Use Case Identification - Identify where AI can help unlock gains in how your business operates today. We'll give you options on how eliminate pain points or gain advantages by identifying where AI technology can help.
  • Tool Evaluation - Maybe you know what you need, but can't sort through what tool is best at what. We will evaluate tools and provide proof of concept to let you see how they will work and help you decide.

Data Project GC

Systems must communicate whenever possible. Data projects are all about ensuring automatic and clean communications. These are best delivered when the people with hands on keyboards are central to delivery.

We'll gather requirements and assemble the best team for the delivery of projects. We leverage our own skills and bring on experts with specialized skill sets when needed.

What types of projects does this include? Many organizations have existing or new systems that need to integrate with each other. Below are a few examples where this type of understanding is needed:

  • Feeding data to automated marketing tools.
  • Integrating new systems or bolt on systems with existing systems.
  • Integrating acquired businesses and migrating data into existing systems.
  • Helping migrate data from legacy to new system.

If you are having trouble with smooth transitions of data between systems, you are wasting time fighting your systems. Small technical enhancements can often make huge gains in productivity.

FAQ

What we do: Data sent to and from our hosted algorithms are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Most importantly, we never store data used in the algorithms. We create and store algorithms. Data safety is all about how securely data is stored and transferred.
What you can do: Use a minimum required data approach. While our practices ensure security, we recommend you protect your own comfort with any interaction. Only provide data needed to get the job done. For example, if you have a file with customer names and customer numbers to run through our segmentation algorithm, just send data with the numbers. We send the results back with the numbers and you can match them back to customers.

The algorithms are usage based charges so cost will be proportional to use. We'll set a small hosting fee to manage the updates and continuous testing to ensure its ready at all times, but the primary goal is to have a place you can use to re-run analyses you've paid for us to develop.

You do. The great thing about a cloud warehouse is we can build it and maintain it, but you will always be the only one with the keys. We'll help you with the process, but we will simply be hired services to work on your system. We build data pipelines to get data from one place to another and design where it goes. Think of us as data air traffic control, we'll get the data where it needs to go and orchestrate the movement, but it takes off (your sources) and lands (your warehouse) from your systems. Cloud data warehouses like Snowflake are great for any size business because the vendor ensures they are secure and flexible while allowing you to only pay for what you use.

Our aim is to be tool agnostic in our offerings. We believe the business understanding ramp up is far more complex than the tool. Therefore we have domain and general data expertise. However, we are a Snowflake data platform partner because we believe it to be an industry leader with the tools and flexibility to adapt to any business. However, if you are a Microsoft or SAP only company, we will partner with their professional services to ensure tools are setup properly, but guide the decisions needed for your outcomes.

The explosion of open source AI algorithms means that advanced analytics are at your fingertips if you understand how to organize data and run the algorithms. The problem is that analysts are inhibited by the 'pre-work' of data download and preparation. 80% of analyses are spent on this. To best enable analytic teams, the data storage, data engineering and data architecture needs to be done before these teams start the analysis. The results are faster and more consistent insights.
